KeepKey is often left out when Ledger or Trezor are implemented for hardware wallet connection on most of the platforms with the exception of MyEtherWallet.
As a user, I would like to see the business development team actively reaching out to platforms with a pitch deck (with numbers) trying to convince them to integrate KeepKey. If the backend needs to be open up more or simplified enough for the developer to make use of it, then KeepKey might want to seriously consider that. If the documentations are too complicated for the developer to make use of it, then KeepKey might also want to consider revising it. If financial allows, KeepKey might want to incentivize developer as well. Not sure if this is being done constantly or decisions are made on purpose in business sense not to do so; ie. competitor to ShapeShift and so on.
Personally, I would like to see Gnosis Safe integrating KeepKey. They have a tremendous amount of wallet options; 12 actually (including Portis), but KeepKey is not one of them. Compound being one of the most asked for feature is on the platform too. After that, including at least one major DEX that could make use of KeepKey would cover all the basic DeFi aspects.
